A big family, a reading addiction, and the occasional celebrity scandal are the ingredients of life that create one woman's opinion on just about everything.

Whew!

Well kiddies, I FINALLY have all my posts tagged. I've been doing it bit by bit since I converted to Beta and can now rejoice that it is DONE! One problem I have is tagging my posts with a gazillion cross references. That comes from my records management training and working in a law office. In other words, there is no such thing as too much detail. Someday, I'm going to go through each tag and change, delete, combine, but I'm happy just to have every one have some sort of tag.

I'm also finally reading DEMON ANGEL by Meljean Brook. The first 60 pages were tough for me to get through. It was (is) mostly an issue of me not particularly liking books about angels. However, it is sooooo worth sticking with it. I'm a little more than half way and really liking it now. I've been on such a reading roll since the first of the year I can't remember the last time I was reading a book for more than a couple of days, but I've been really busy and have tried to read this one and give it my full attention.

I read Holly's post about how much she was enjoying DEMON MOON and didn't have the time to read it. That's what's happened to me the last couple of days. My boys have plans this evening and it's leftover night so I should have some quiet time to finish the book tonight. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to do a review in the next couple of days.

I want to spend my life in a library. All I want to do all day is read books and tell people what I think about them. Can't someone pay me to do this?

I agree that the first probably quarter of the book is hard to get through, but I really ended up enjoying it. Although, it was really slow going for awhile.

I'm just about to put my review for Demon Moon up. It's the second book in the series (well, third, because she has a short story coming out in an antho the first of May) and it was even better than DA.

Sheesh, Marianne, with your degree you could be a book reviewer. Although Dear Author posted that another newspaper was doing away with their book reviewer.

The only problem with reviewing is reading a book you personally might not be interested in. I read and review at my whim. Way more fun.

Holly, I frankly was so surprised when the book pace picked up so quickly and am really enjoying it now. Can't wait to finish it. Now at least I won't have to wait long for DEMON MOON. I'll be anxious to see your review. So far, both Tara Marie and Rosario have really liked it.

I have a pile of TBR books for the first time in ages. I was all caught up, and now I have 6 to read! Yippee!
Last night I read a Barbara Vine book - I didn't know she was Ruth Rendell's penname!

I wondered why I had 60 posts from your blog on my Google Reader. LOL. Good for you! I really need to do that with ALL my posts too, but making the time is hard. Sigh.

I've got Demon Angel on my TBR stack right now. I guess if it starts out with me not getting into it, I'll push through because normally I'm not an angel fan either... well, not in books anyway. :-)

Sam, I keep looking at some of the books I'm anxious to read in my TBR and it makes me happy. I love looking forward to a good read.

Anne, yeah I completely forgot about how bringing up, editing and repub of my posts would wreak havoc on active meter, google and other readers. Yikes!

Maybe I'm dim and don't know some secret to putting labels on my posts without repubs. If anyone has a clue let me in on it.

Goodonya!! I haven't even begun to tag all my posts. I guess I should give it a go eventually.

So do you know how to do the tags in a sidebar link??

Jen, would it answer your question about tags in the sidebar link if I said. Huh? You don't mean like links I have to other sites do you? I do know how to do those.

Hey Rosie!

I'm glad you enjoyed Demon Angel! I love that book... I don't like angel that much either, but they're not really angels right :D and there's one wicked demon to balance everything out LOL

Hope you have a nice and relaxing week-end.

LOL, Rosie. Yeah, that's what I was talking about. I've seen some blogs with all the tags in the side bar and you can click on one you're interested in to see all the posts with that particular tag. It's brilliant! If only I knew how to do it. LOL

Nath, I finished DA and am hoping to write a review sometime over the weekend. I don't even know how to write my reaction because it is soooo many things right now. I can say Wow Meljean!

Rosie,
Rowena knows how to add all the tags to your sidebar, and I bet she'd help you with it.

And now that you're all finished I do know an easier way to add tags. Once you've signed in, you go to *edit posts* and click on *all*, which should bring up a list of all the blogs you've either saved as drafts or published. Next to each post is a box. You click on the box you want and then go to the top of the page. Above the list of posts is a drop down box that says *label actions*. You scroll down to the label you want and click on it (i.e. Book Reviews) and it automatically tags for you. That way you don't have to open and then republish each post.

Hope that helped. If you didn't understand that (sometimes I confuse even myself) email me and I'll try to explain it better.

I'm completely helpless when it comes to templates and HTML codes, but I'm a tech expert when it comes to other stuff. :)

Holly, I tried tagging that way, because I did see the little boxes to check for tags, but I must have missed something in the steps because it wasn't taking the tags.
