So many people go gaga over him and I kind of feel left out because I just don't see it :(. Of course I don't see it with George Clooney, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck either. I think I tend though to focus more on the character they play though and I don't think I've seen Colin Firth in anything other than Bridget Jones Diary - so maybe that's it. Yes, alas, I'm one of the few who hasn't seen the version of P&P he's in. And confession time here - none of other versions either.

Devonna, there's tons of pictures out there but these are the ones that remind me why I like him. Of course nothing compares with watching him in the movies.

Kristie, if you see him interviewed he is so boyish and unlike the brooding characters he often plays that he just seems like a really nice guy.

He's great in both Briget Jones Diary and P&P. Did you know that his name is Mr. Darcy in both movies? Helen Fielding who wrote Briget Jones' books loves the character of Mr. Darcy in P&P so much she named her male protag Mr. Darcy and described him as looking like the actor Colin Firth. Ms. Fielding had a crush on Firth from the A&E version of P&P.

When BJD got made they asked Colin Firth to play the part. Full circle. Cool, in a weird funny sort of way, huh?!
