I'm cooking a turkey. GG is out for a run and Beanie and Shmoo are sleeping. The house is quiet. Don't tell anyone, but I'm going to read in sunshine-y bliss for an hour or so.

Sounds great! I should be doing the same, but we're heading out for a family party today. We're having our own Thanksgiving this year on account of plenty of family parties between now and Christmas. I'm actually looking forward to it.

Mmmmmm, turkey. Bob and I are going to celebrate U.S. Thanksgiving hopefully - it's hard to find a small turkey when the Canadians don't have a holiday. Right now my choice is huge and beastly!!
Hope you had a wonderful dinner and found a good book to read!
