I don't know why, but Megan Hart's writing style doesn't work for me. I've tried three of her books and find her heroines to be really difficult to relate to. I know many, many readers are really passionate about her stuff, but I have yet to find one that works for me.

Kati, I don't think Megan's for everyone and she's okay with that, at least that's the impression I've always had from you blog posts. I really relate to her characters inner turmoil and dealing with the parent issues they often have. Very familiar territory for me. That and I often feel like the characters are people I've met or know in real life.
AL, yes fire season is in full swing here in SoCal. Going outside in the heat and humidity combined with the oily nasty ashy air is to say the least no fun. Have no fear, that if I'm suffering with fire fallout I'll be sure to be whining about it on my blog. :-)
