Got Snow?
I can't remember the last time it was like this. Sure we get the occasional snow flake, but not like this!

A big family, a reading addiction, and the occasional celebrity scandal are the ingredients of life that create one woman's opinion on just about everything.

Oh good Lord! I can't believe how much snow you have! Great picture of Emily, because it really helps gauge how deep it is. I can't even imagine.
Ok, I can imagine. I'm from the Midwest. But y'know - they've got snow plows...and salt trucks...and they're used to it. Hope you get a snow day tomorrow!
We're terribly jealous!!!! The boys want to come over and make snowmen/snow angels! :-)
Can't wait to see you!
Way jealous!! Jeff says he wants a snow day and wants to move in with you.
OMG!!!!! Get the guest room/sofa/whatever ready, I'm coming to visit!!!!! :-)
Okay, so you guys got more than I thought (when I was over at Holly's blog). Was everything close in your town as well?
All I have to say is enjoy the snow while it's there since you don't get it often :)
Wendy, it's pretty cool and the snow is so gorgeous this morning. Of course I can say that because I don't have to go to work today!
Mary, it would be so much fun to play with the boys in the snow. Wish you were here!
Lori, Jeff wants to move in? Really? The snows melting already. Is he sure?
Gabrielle, c'mon down girl! I'd love to have you.
Nath, I didn't check to compare how much Holly got compared to us. Since GG came home near her area I think it was quite a bit less than us, but like I said, not sure. It's been fun, but if we had weather like this all the time it would get old fast.
I don't know how much you ended up with, but we're at about a foot. A FREAKING FOOT! Sheesh. It sure does look pretty, though. :)
OMG, that looks like my front yard!
Who'da thunk? I mean really! Crazy snow days in CA! Well, at least it will be cold for Christmas.
And last week we were wearing shorts! lol
Holly, I have no clue what the official measurement was but we had about 16 inches (I think more, but that's what GG says) in our front yard. It's been a fun change and sunrise was so beautiful this morning, but I wouldn't want a steady diet of snow.
Steadman, you must be laughing your butt off at us SoCalis being so freaked out. Minney-soda gets waaaay more snow than us.
Tracy, Shmoo is over the moon and loves the snow. He didn't want to go into work today because he wanted to stay home and play some more. And, yes, it certainly gets one in the mood for Christmas especially when the sun shines the next day.
That's totally insane!! Totally pretty, too.
It gets old right after the big first snow... seriously, then you have to worry about plowing and shoveling... and the road conditions.
Let see, we're getting 6 inches on Sunday and 4 on Tuesday and Wednesday... Ugh. it doesn't sound much, but it sure piles up.
Wow, snow. I just got rain here. Pouring freezing rain.
I see Emily! :D
Jen, as you can imagine drivers in SoCal aren't so great driving in the snow. It's been just peachy.
Nathie, we are still worrying about road conditions. It's only been getting up to low 40s during the day and the teens during the night. So we still have snow and each day it melts and runs off and makes for some icey dicey driving.
Alys, is so much better than snow. Cuz your rain is gone and, well, we still have snow!
Did you make snow angels and have a snowball fight? :D
Katie, yes to snowballs and snowball fight. Nix to snow angels. It was snowing so hard and was so cold I chickened out.
